Arbor Day|Protecting the Environment, Delivering Green
Spring March, the grass sprout out of the earth. March creeps up on us, and with it comes Arbor Day. Do you know the origin of Arbor Day?
According to information, the modern Arbor Day was first initiated by the state of Nebraska in the United States. Before the 19th century, Nebraska was a bare wilderness with few trees, dry land, and high winds that filled the sky with yellow sand, and the people suffered greatly. In 1872, Julius Sterling Moulton, a famous American agronomist, Initiated a proposal at the annual meeting of the Nebraska State Board of Agriculture in Lincoln to establish a tree planting festival in Nebraska to mobilize people to plant trees in a planned manner.
After the proposal was adopted by the Nebraska Farm Bureau, the governor established the third Wednesday of April as Arbor Day. After Arbor Day was established, millions of trees were planted that year. In the 16 years since then, Nebraska has gone from 100,000 hectares of wilderness to dense forest. In the United States today, trees line the streets and shade the roads, a result that is inseparable from Arbor Day.
Birdsey Northrop of Connecticut was responsible for globalizing the idea when he visited Japan in 1883 and delivered the message of Arbor Day and village improvement. That same year, the American Forestry Association appointed Northrop as chairman of the National Arbor Day Campaign Committee, bringing enthusiasm for Arbor Day to Australia, Canada and Europe. Since then, Arbor Day has been taking place in various forms around the world.
Why is tree planting increasingly promoted nowadays? Because plants and the climate and environment are inextricably linked, afforestation is important for regulating the climate, nourishing water and reducing atmospheric pollution. The improvement of forest vegetation not only beautifies the home, reduces soil erosion and sand damage to farmland, but also effectively increases the carbon storage capacity of the forest ecosystem. We advocate green travel, saving paper and electricity, etc. The goal is to protect the environment and the home we depend on for survival.
In line with the philosophy advocated by the community, Winstep keeps the original intention of environmental protection and uses ABS material for the blades in the CF42-3CS(W) ceiling fan process.

The significance of Winstep's advocacy of Arbor Day is not that everyone has to plant a tree on Arbor Day, rather through the arrival of another Arbor Day, we pay more attention to greening and environmental protection, and make everyone realize the importance of respecting nature and protecting the environment.
